ACA Canyon Leader | ACE Level 5 Guide

Canyoneering is beautiful, until something goes wrong. Sometimes it is one major problem, while other times it is a series of smaller issues that go unnoticed until they begin to add up. After one particularly eventful canyon, I realized how unprepared I was to manage those situations and contribute fully as a member of the team. That experience motivated me to pursue more formal training and develop a deeper understanding of the technical and safety aspects of the sport.

I am certified as an ACA Canyon Leader and an ACE Level 5 Guide through Uber Adventures. I have also completed Wilderness First Aid training through NOLS. I love exploring beautiful places, spending time with friends and sharing what I have learned so that others can enjoy canyoneering safely and confidently.

I graduated from the University of Arizona with a BS in Computer Science and currently work as a software engineer.
