Advanced Canyoneering is designed to increase the depth of your core rope work, perfect the tools already in your possession, address rescue scenarios and apply these skills toward more complex scenarios. A through understanding of the ideas and application from the Advanced course will allow you to thoughtfully analyze and develop a logical and safe plan when others may find themselves in over their heads. Advanced Canyoneering aims to provide a well developed and deep technical tool set that will certainly prove valuable when encountering situations found in off the beaten path canyons as well as unforeseen circumstances in trade routes.
We will spend 1-3 days together going over core concepts with some time spent in a classroom type environment and the bulk of the time outdoors putting the freshly acquired skills to use.
